It was supposed to be out in April, and it's now June.

I also noticed that success-hk charged our credit card, but the online tracking system they have states that the order is still being processed. Just checking, thanks..

Very cool, an adapter that lets you play Famicom games on your GBA

They need to put out a 72-pin version. Then I'll sit up and bark. Until then I'll content myself with my Super-Joy Famiclone and GBA TV Tuner. It's a lot of extra spaghetti, but what the hey...

Do you think they'll make one for NES games?

No. That would be very uncomfortable to hold.

I don't think that has to be the case. Off the top of my eye, a 72-pin cart is only about 1/2" wider than a 68-pin. So at most you're only adding 3/4" overall width to a unit like this. All you have to do then is recess the cartridge port all the way to the bottom of the unit to prevent the cart from wobbling and you're in North American business.

Indeed. Just like the one you use for the Game Axe to play NES games. But that's difficult enough as it is, that tower of plastic (NES to Fami/NES cart) going into a handheld system.

Then consider that you'd be going even bigger (Fami to GBA/NES to Fami/NES cart) AND the tiny GBA SP... gotta ask yourself at that point "is it worth it?" and "is this still considered 'portable'?"

Yeah, but I have to think if you're buying a converter to play Famicom games on your SP it's likely that you're already too far gone into the realm of obsession to be worried about such tenuous concepts as "value" and "portability." LOL
