Question for anybody who has the Soul Calibur II joystick.

HELP!
I picked this thing up used a few weeks back, the universal one. I'm not sure if it is working correctly. It seems that i cannot quickly tap buttons or it won't register at all ( i have to wait for the blue prog button to light up and finish). I've tried to deactivate all the programming, but it doesn't seem to help. Is this the way the joystick 'is' or is there someway to reset to default? Maybe i'm just not doing it correctly.

My buddy bought it with the game and we had no trouble at all. Used it for hours. Worked great.

nevermind, lock this if you want...i called tech support...and they didn't help at all...so i violently started mashing buttons and it works.

(you have to REPEATEDLY hit program, back, and the button to reset it)
