Attention Nes collectors retrogaming shirts are here!

At local chain game stores around the US, Nintendo is promoting the new release of the Gameboy SP retro and games buy giving employees of Game Crazy and Gamestop a box(which itself looks like a nes system) with five brightly colored shirts that have the og covers of the classic Nes line re-released on the SP! There are shirts inside that are of the following games:

Donkey Kong(dark yellow)
Super Mario Bros(light yellow)
Zelda(dark green)
Excitebike(red)
Ice Climber(light blue)

...I was very grateful to have a local store that knew I was a very avid nes collector(only 11 games left) and they gave me the entire box! I was flipping out!!!! I just wanted to post this because I know some of ya have connections like me, and well, they look very very cool! Most of all Game on!

I have looked everywhere for the NES box with all 5 shirts. Would you happen to know anywhere that might have it. Also if you happen to find an extra box with the 5 shirts could I maybe pay you for it?

I saw this the other day and asked the employee about the possibility of buying the box but he said it was going to an employee... He did give me a set of classic NES scratch and sniff stickers, a Resident Evil Outbreak "Anti Virus Survival Kit" and a Nintendo lanyard though.... 8-)

Oh, I know where to get the scratch and sniff thing but I don't know where to get the shirts...I want them really badly too!

The stickers are all different... let me see if I remember: Excitebike smells like burning rubber, SMB smells like spaghetti, Ice Climber smells like "winter air," .... um... drawing a blank on the others.

That RE kit was pretty cool btw. It's a ziploc bag with a surgical mask printed with the RE:O logo on it, and a water bottle/compass/keychain thing with the Capcom and Gamestop logos.

Donkey Kong is Jungle Fruit and Zelda was Cedar Trees (some kind of Coniferous tree) I got the kit too, but only one lanyard and as of this moment, the blue Ice Climbers shirt. I'm waiting a few days to see if no one takes the Mario or DK shirts then I will snag them. My manager let me take the box and some o fthe other things that went with it, but made me leave the other shirts that weren't taken yet.

Just go to your local game stores and ask if they have one. That will be the fastest way to find out if there's one around you.

I am pretty lucky to have three game stores that all hook me up, as far as I know both Game Crazy and Gamestop both got sent the same retail kit. On top of that they also were given different Zelda promo shirts to give to people who reserved the retro games. ALSO at Circut City, they are giving out a really wierd Mario Bros Shirt tomorrow with purchase of any retro game. What can I say? I was at the right places at the right times!
