I don't follow Marvel like I wish I could but I really enjoy it as a whole, I have been playing a lot of Marvel games lately and my favorites are definately X-Men Mutant Apocalypse SNES, Marvel Super Heroes Saturn, and Spider Man PSX. That game just made me feel like I was in the comic book it just played so well. X Men has some beautiful visuals and very solid gameplay for its time.
I have to say the worst are Spider Man and the Xmen all consoles, Hulk for Saturn and Spider man and the Sinister Six for the Nes
What games did you like and which ones did you not and why.

X-Men 2: the Clone Wars (Genesis) - This may very well be one of the top platformers based on a licensed property ever. You have a whole crew of X-Men to choose from, each of whom are useful and diverse. Nice animation and effects combined with a responsive set of controls. It's a bit repetitive, but it is, after all, a platformer.
X-Men: the Arcade Game (duh) - This along with Konami's Turtles and <insert company here>'s Simpsons game and you have one of the best multiplayer beat-em-ups ever made. A nice cast of characters, lots of cameos by even minor characters and lots of fun to play.
The Avengers (Arcade) - Pretty fun beat-em-up with Hawkeye, Vision, Cap. America and Iron Man (maybe others?). Plus, it's the only game you'll ever see a few of these characters in.
Iron Man (GBA) - decent side-scroller that's well animated and has a nice set of moves, but it lacks the overall greatness to make it a classic. Still better than your average licensed title though.
The Hulk (multi) - nice looking beat-em-up that's a tad repetitive (pretty much standard for the genre), but features some similarities with the movies while at the same time heading off in it's own direction.
I'm assuming we all know that the Marvel vs. <insert franchise/company here> games are good, although their greatness depends heavily on your preference in fighting games.
The new X-Men RPG should be a nice switch-up from the usual beat-em-up we've been treated to in the past, although since it's an RPG, I'll probably never try it.
