Hey gang,

I'm embassassed by this, as I'm usually quite savvy. But here goes. I recently got a "new" Dreamcast and have been enjoying the piss out of my new games and machine. However, as I understand it, there are a host of emulation programs that will turn the DC into a Sega Genesis, NES, MAME, what have you. So, how would I go about starting in this? (I'm primarily interested in Genesis emulation)

I just need a few websites and maybe one or two "talking points." ("First you need THIs. Then you need to get THIS.")

Someone wanna take me by the hand on this? Thanks.

Sometimes getting these emulators to run is a real pain in the ass, but check www.dcemulation.com for some help. If you are interested I also have some pre-made discs here of emulators/roms on self-bootable cds. Stuff like SMS, Genesis, Colecovision, NES...etc. I can hook you up as well. just shoot me an email: zektor@digitpress.com

I did the majority of my dreamcast emulator burning with a program called Dreamcast Factory.

http://dcfactory.cjb.net/

What it does is create a Nero or Disc Juggler image from the dreamcast console emulator and the roms on your harddrive. Very, very handy program. And it works great.

Would anyone mind assisting me as well on the emulation for DC stuff please? I'm getting the DC I got from Survivor soon and would like to try this out at some point myself.
