Toys R US Buy 1 get one free on select DC, PS1, GBA READER

Went to Toys R US tonight and they were offering buy on get one free on PS1, DC and half of their GBA Reader games. Don't know if this was only at one store or chain wide. But a pretty good deal as most of the games are already at clearance prices.

Yeah I think someone must have taken them to the back room and lost them or something. The selection was not varied but they had multiple copies of:

Typing Of the Dead
Space Channel 5
POD
Chu Chu Rocket
Speed Devils
Tennis 2k2
Various sport titles
DK2
Unreal Tourny
Crazy Taxi 2

Some other titles I can't remember

All between $4-$11 except for DK2 which was $24

The store is in Brea, CA if anyone is close. They were Clearancing the GBA reader games for $2.50. I did't get a good look at the PS1 stuff. It took three shopping carts to hold everything...I think there was some N64 stuff in there too.

Speaking of - I'm having a terrible time tracking down a copy of the e-Reader Urban Champion game. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there anybody who'd be willing to pick one up for a small fee?

Yeah bad news....Urban Champion is the hardest title to track down. I had to resort to eBay to find mine. You could try looking at your Gamestop if they have a bunch of cards left (all ereader stock in the district seems to have gotten shipped to two or three select stores over here). If all else fails, you should be able to order it directly from Nintendo's website

All my TRU store has left is multiple copies of 2k baseball for DC + Wreslemania 2000.

I did score some awesome things though. I bought 3 DC controllers for only 1.99 a piece. First party SEGA brand controllers too, not thrid party pieces of shit.
