OK, I know there is still an import market for Dreamcast but most seem to be either Japanese dating sims or Shoot-em-ups which is fine, However I was wondering who might suggest good worthwile import (IE: non U.S. released titles) that can be play and are enjoyable WITHOUT any knowledge of the games originating language? Suggestions?
THANKS........................... :)

I really like Yu Suzuki Gameworks which is basically a Sega arcade compilation with Afterburner, Space Harrier and the like. I am such a sucker for compilations!

Border Down is fantastic.

KOF 2000, 2001, and 2002 all came out on the dreamcast, though I've heard the port of 2002 was kinda crappy. Capcom vs SNK 2 is arcade perfect on the dreamcast, so take that as you will.

DC also has Vampire Chronicles and Super Street Fighter 2 X (known in the states as Super SF2 Turbo), and those are both checking out as well.

Zero Gunner 2 is a fun shooter too.

I would also definitely suggest Headhunter (European). Ikaruga and Fighting Vipers 2 also come to mind as games that I can enjoy without knowing the language. Shenmue II and Rez (both Euro releases) are also awesome.

There are some really weird ones, like Boku No Tennis Jinsei that I enjoy, but your milage may vary on titles like that.

Border down wasn't very fun. The delay between death and playing again was far too long. Took me completely out of the game.

I prefer Psyvariar, it has a great sound track.

Sakura Taisen 3 I just startedplaying. Its great fun. I just wish I could read japanese or change the language to english/spanish.

Cosmic Smash
Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Mix: Dreamcast Edition
Dance Dance Revolution Club Version: Dreamcast Edition

Macross M3
Napple Tale: Arsia In Daydream
Rainbow Cotton (some say no because of control issues)
Samba De Amigo Ver. 2000
Tokyo Bus Guide (too slow for some)

Was wondering if anyone would say Cosmic Smash! here's my list:

Cosmic Smash (Jp)
Rez (PAL)
Evil Twin (PAL)
Shenmue 2 (PAL)
Border Down (Jp)
Ikaruga (Jp)
Puyo Puyo 4 (Jp)
Puyo Puyo fever (Jp)
Zero Gunner 2 (Jp)

Some people liked Frame Gride (Jp) but I couldn't get into it. The Giant Gram 2000 and Fire Pro D wrestling games are supposed to be really good if you're into that. And I can't recommend Cosmic Smash enough...it's awesome!

I left of the wrestling games, since to really get into them you have to deal with a lot of text in the form of menus. I guess someone could go to gamefaqs and download the walk through for Fire Pro D if they were so inclined.

I would add:

Cool Cool Toon (rhythm)
Puyo Puyo Da! (rhythm/dance)
Bomber hehhe!
Hundred Swords
Plus Plumb
Taisen Net Gimick: Capcom & Psikyo All Stars (mahjong w/ Capcom & Psikyo characters)
The Lost Golem (get the king from one side to the other puzzle type)
