First, how can you tell the difference between them and the original ones? Is there any way on the box?

Second, what games were rereleased by them?

Thanks.

They all had paper boxes, for one thing. And I don't think they had any "greatest hits" labeling.

So when you see Ms. Pac man or Castlevania: Bloodlines in paper boxes, you know it's Majesco.

As for games, I rememebr those two, plus Frogger, Sonic 3 (I think), umm...

Here's the easy way to figure it out: Remember all of those paper boxed games clogging up the TRU clearance bins about 2 years ago? Those were the majesco rereleases.

By paper, you mean cardboard, right?

*doesn't go to TRU*

Yes, he means cardboard. On the bottom of the back of the box it says released by Majesco. Here is a quick (Incomplete) list of what I have seen:

Slide tray style boxes:

(Mario) Andretti Racing
Animaniacs
Clayfighters
Sonic 3D Blast
Taz in Escape From Mars (Mega Hit Series)
Vectorman (Mega Hit Series)
Vectorman 2
World of Illusion with Mickey and Donald

Pop-top style boxes:

Arcade Classics
Castlevania Bloodlines
Desert Strike (standard size cart, not big EA style cart)
Frogger
Jungle Strike (standard size cart, not big EA style cart)
Jurassic Park
Road Rash II (standard size cart, not big EA style cart)
Sonic 3D Blast
Sonic Classics
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Mega Hit Series)
Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure
Tom and Jerry Frantic Antics
(Disney's) Toy Story

I have a complete Monopoly with a slide tray style box, so there's another one.

I've also seen Super Battleship, although it was loose so I couldn't tell you what box style it was originally came from.

I'm not exactly sure on this, but I think F-22 Interceptor is another one. The game was originally released on a big EA cart and I just recently saw one on a normal Genny cart. I didn't check but it's likely that was a Majesco cart too.

Another thing: some Majesco carts have small black stickers on the back of the cart covering the Sega logo. They are also textured a little differently compared to other Genny carts.

Those slide tray re-releases are from Majesco too? I guess I never really bothered to thoroughly look at my Mega Hit Series Vectorman. I always just assumed it was some cheapo Sega re-release.
