and mine was last Saturday. Now this may not be the greatest find on the board, but I think this was my best day so far as a collector. I found a block sale at a trailer park which obviously NorkUSA :D miraculously missed and had a field day. Everything appears to have all the hook ups and controllers.
I found 3 NES with about 30 common games total for a grand total of $7.
I also found an Atari 5200 with 9 common games for 7.50.
I found a 15 gallon hex aquarium, stand, and hood for $5 and....

Thanks to Bratwurst for hosting the pics for me.
I paid $12 for the SMS bundle and $20 for the Genesis bundle. Neither of these were out for sale. I asked the guy, since he had a bunch of old stereo equipment, if he had any old video games and his wife brought me in the house and I took it all. One of the NES came from this couple too.
Yay Me!!
In honor of my find, and obviously good Karma I've changed my Avatar.
What do you think folks (about the VG find)?

DAMN! O_O You are a lucky SOB. :D I wish I could get a Master System find like that. Just goes to show why you shouldn't be afraid to ask for video games! :-P
BTW, when I first saw the topic title, I was half-expecting to see that your dog had thrashed your collection... Glad that wasn't the case! :eek 2:

The boxed Toejam & Earl is worth what you paid for the SMS and Genny bundle alone. Every now and then I still ask about videogames at yardsale tables if they're not in sight but nothing comes of it.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Wow man, WOW. I miss bringing home those big hauls for cheapo, makes me envious looking at this. And sad. :(
My little eyes spot a DP guide with a piece of paper sticking out of it, what would that be holding the place for? :hmm:
You got Rocket Knight Adventures you jerk! :P What NES games did you get, by the way?
Nice new avatar, glad to see the other one gone. :puke:

Nice haul! It took me a lot more money to get most of those SMS games...and I want that Toejam and Earl bad! :P
You got a bunch of 3D games - did you get the glasses, too? (That looks like the adapter on the top of the SMS picture...)
Also, what is the title of that SMS game in the top left corner under Zillion? Double-something...? I don't see it in the DP Guide...

Unfortunately the glasses work, but the "ear holders" would need to be glued back onto the frames. I'll most likely look on Ebay for a set of glasses that are missing the adapter.
Saturday was amazing. It seemed like the VG game gods were casting their blessings upon me. I'm going to go out looking again this weekend.

Double Hawk. A 1990 Europe/Australia release (Brazil?). You control a guy in the foreground shooting soldiers and tanks in the background. It's like NAM 1975, except not as good.

You looking to get rid of your broken glasses? ;)
