Ok so I want to see how much I could get for my GameCube collection, but in no means do I actually want to sell it. So I was wondering is it allowed to go on eBay and put an auction up on eBay and then retract it on the final seconds of the auction? I know it might not be the nicest thing to do, and its an asshole move, but I can't imagine how I could ever see how much my GameCube collection is worth. Now I'm not even sure if I'm going to do this, I just want to know if its possible, allowed, etc.

Thanks in advance guys. 8-)

Why not search for all the games you have in your collection on ebay and see what those games sell for? Same thing for the system and peripherals. Starting an auction without the intent of selling is a bad idea in my opinion. It would take a more time and energy to do the research, but it is a more reasonable thing to do than what you are asking. Just my opinion on the matter.

Again I'm not even sure if I was going to do this, just getting some possibilities.

I hear where your coming from though, it's not the best thing to do, but prices vary in bulk compared to individual prices.

or you could put a ridiculous reserve on it, but I think I'd just research it also.

That's bad karma.

Besides, the prices on ebay fluctuate so much that all you would know is that would be what you would have gotten this one particular time. If you sold it next week the price might be totally different.

I've got a solution...list it every week! then round out and find that average! (j/k)

no, if I were you, I wouldn't list it if you don't intend to sell it...most people hate it when people do that!
