The "Gameboy Advance SP Donkey Kong Color Edition".

I wonder what next week will bring. You can never have too many different colors of SP's. I can't wait for the day when the Advance is so outdated and you can get them for $20-$30 used. I seriously wanna collect them all.

Well, I love the Banana Yellow case and the Ape Brown buttons.. But unless there's some kind of cool silkscreened image on the outside of the case, it's just another color scheme. Would be nice to have an image of DK and Diddy on the outside.

What's funny is when the "Special Edition" Black/Silver version came out, I thought "What the heck? That's UGLY! Is that the best we get?"

That was mere months before they unleashed the Famicom SP, the Famicom SP 2, the NES SP, the DK SP, ad infinum...

Seriously tho, I LIKE the many available colors. It's a GOOD thing. Variety is good. I'm happy about it. I bought a blue one, now I've bought a NES one. I can give one to my wife and we don't get em mixed up, and people don't accidentally grab yours instead of theirs (it IS a concern sometimes!). Regardless, it allows you to tailor gaming a BIT more to your style. What's so bad about that?

Well, there is already a Pink SP out. It's a JP-only model and it's actually called Pearl Pink (it looks more lilac than bubblegum pink, tho). Its buttons are grey.

Actually, Japan has just about every damn color you can imagine. I'm a REAL fan of the solid White "Final Fantasy Tactics" version. Damn.. that is sweet. And the orange one that has a Pokémon on it, but not with the picture on the cover. Just the orange.

I would think that that would be something nifty for a modder to do. Use something similar to the Coleco arcade shells, but place a GBA inside.

I have to admit that I'm all for different colors. Around here, we played something akin to "musical chairs" with our Game.com sytems until we started placing stickers & such on the backs to identify them clearly.

It's a same these types of designs and colors weren't available for the NES and Snes systems!
