I bought an Apple II/II plus clone the other day at a Goodwill and this was laying inside. It is a Nihon Office Communications BAL 500 Series Auto-EPROM Programmer RP 525 with the manual and some EPROMs. I was wondering if this has any use today? I think the EPROMs are 128K. What was this used for back in the day? Could you program a game for Atari 2600 on an Apple IIe and write it onto an EPROM with this? Or is this just another useless piece of crap for my ever growing giant pile of crap. Thanks for any info you can give.

I'm sure you could, especially considering that the CommaVid guys used a TRS80 Color Computer to program their 2600 games. Apple 2 has to be a little easier, eh?
