Hi folks,
my boss at Tips & Tricks is looking for some quality images of any of the PC Engine - to - TurboGrafx-16 converters, except for the green "diving board" one.

Can anyone help?

He'll probably make you a very rich man if you can! But probably not.

Please let us know and thanks in advance!

I assume you mean converters to play U.S. Turbochip games on a PC Engine and not the other way around. I have a brown "TV Game Converter" That will let me play Hu-cards on U.S. systems, but I don't think that's what you're looking for are you?

OK, I took some quick snaps with the camera. I can teke better ones if needed.......

I'm going to shift this over to the gaming forum, so maybe you'll get a bit more exposure, Joe.

EXPOSE YOURSELF TO US!

@Chadtower: yes please.

@Wisekrak: this is fine but it's PCE - to - TG16 he's most interested in, so if you've got any of those, scans and photos appreciated.

Thanks!

@Chadtower: yes please.

I'll get it tonight. Do you want the box too? I believe the one I have still has the packaging. I never did use it much.

It's not for one of my projects so I can't say for sure - if you have time to photo or scan both, please do. If not, no problem. Thanks again.

With mod to allow it to work on a Duo... if you need print quality pics I can get those, I didn't want to link to a 3meg image here.

Doh! @_@
Looks like Chadtower and I have the same converter! Although it seems as though his is modded far more than mine for play on the DUO. This adapter will allow you to play Import PC Engine Hu cards on a TG16 and a DUO (If you go for the extreme mod LOL ) The picture on the converter however shows TG16 games being loaded into a PC engine. I wonder if the converter works both ways? I don't have a PC engine so I cannot tell.

I've always wondered about that picture. It does play PCE games on a TG/Duo, though, I confirmed that last night. I don't have a PCE either so I can't say whether it does or does not work both ways. I strongly suspect it does not, though, since IIRC it's a physical pin swapper akin to a crossover cable. I believe US and Japanese HUcards have a two pin difference in the pinout so I don't see how it would physically be done.
