Oy!
Just in case you were thinking about doing something else, may I remind you that your attendance is MANDATORY at tomorrow's NAVA meeting at Video Game Connections in Howell, NJ? It will be the last gathering there this year, and there will surely be some blockbuster deals.
For more information including directions and local lodging, check here: http://www.digitpress.com/nava.htm
Feel free to email me or post here if you have any questions not covered on that page!
And for God's sake. Just BE there.

Roll Call?
I think I'm in, and I'm really looking forward to it. I've had a hell of a week at work so I took today off to vegitate and work on my robot and play games. If anybody is interested in setting up a trade before hand let me know by post or PM. I'm looking for 8-bit atari and NES. For trade I have coleco, INTV, NES, 2600, and more to trade. I've got consoles and games for all. I can send a list to whomever is interested I just don't want to lug the crap their if no one is interested.

Work on your ROBOT?
You know what that means, don't you. I will need to abort your project, disassemble your infernal creation, and terminate you. I'm sorry, but I'm the official anti-robot operative in this hemisphere. If you want to make things easy I'd suggest you simply turn over your plans at NAVA tomorrow. That will speed things up and will be far less painful. It will still be very very painful, but far less so than it could be. Just a heads up.
:P
See you tomorrow.

I'm disappointed to say I can't make it. My Dad arrives in NJ in about 1 hour, and I will be entertaining him for the weekend.
I'll miss the 5200, Moon Patrol, discussing movies I've never heard of, checking out cool things I only ever saw in magazines 20 years ago (videogames, you perverts!), etc...
Hope you guys/gals have a good time though!

NEVER. I will not be stopped until my army is finished and I have taken over the world.

I would love to go to one of these but 1,900 miles is a bit far to go on a weekend.

I'm going to try to make it down. I really have no trade items, but it will be cool to meet some people and check out all the cool junk. Maybe pick up those super action controllers I wanted the last time I was there.

Great meeting. I took some pictures that I'll have up (or just in this thread) during the week sometime.
Personal highlights:
- meeting up again with forum members Kid Ice, Goblin (who I didn't get to chat with much), CX2K, Portnoyd, Rolenta, mikeetler and a few others whose forum names elude me.
- scoring a complete-in-box "Fortune Builder" for ColecoVision. I've never actually seen this in the box before! $15, Etler rules.
- listening to the 80's tracks in GTA Vice City, playing "who sings this" trivia. Animotion?!! Right.
- breaking down and buying GTA Vice City.
- watching the looks on people's faces when I break out the BLUE Digital Press Collector's Guide! 8) It's a prototype, with all the system lists that weren't in the book.
- talking a LOT of Saturn and 3DO. Great to hang with people who appreciate these. Even met someone who enjoys "Immercenary". Now THAT's hardcore.

Animotion! Oh dear god I'm having 80's flash backs... Next thing you'll tell me they broke out the Wang Chung...

Yeah, i noticed that after I posted it. No matter what I do, it always ends up being dumb. I think I've been cursed. :(
