I'm planning on doing a marathon session tonight since I won't have a shot at playing this weekend.
So who's in? Hopefully some of you have made it past level 20 so we can play in the HARD level and rack up some decent EXP!
I'll be online with beer in hand after 6pm EST.

I'm in. I just want to beat the game offline once first (shouldn't take long to run the ruins once). I would have been online last night, but those last few quests take forever! Now that I've beaten them all I can play online without feeling like I've missed something. Some of us like to see the story play out before we start running blindly through the game at breakneak speed. Remember, I totally missed out on PSO on the DC so the story is all new to me.

@Tempest: just FYI, the HARD level is the same "story" as the NORMAL level. And the VERY HARD the same as well. The only change in these skill levels are the power of the bad guys. Also you haven't seen the final form of Dark Falz yet. If you thought he was tough on NORMAL, wait until you see him casting GRANTS spells on the entire party from an unreachably high location in the other difficulty levels!
Oh and the EXPERT/ULTIMATE level? That's just insane. It was the major addition to the one-player game in the DC "v2" edition. Same four levels but EVERYTHING looks different, the monsters have different names and attack differently, and it's just insanely difficult. I played v2 until I was about level 150, and I was still getting wiped out in the mines and ruins.
Anyway, who else is in tonight?

I'll probably be on, but I'm only a paltry level 9....possible 10 or 11 by the time I go on tonight.

I hope to be there tonight, Joe...I'm only just level 17 tho. I had heard that it doesn't matter anymore what level you are online, you can get into any level of the game (ie. Hard/VHard)? Was I misinformed??

Oh you may be right! I hadn't actually tried to get into HARD before hitting level 20, I'm just so "conditioned"... or "old skool", depending on your point of view.
Hmm. So that means I could TRY to play on HARD with my level 36'er? Very cool.
