I just won some Saturn games on eBay and the description states, "please check out our other auctions and combine multiple wins to save on shipping." They overcharge for shipping anyway (IMO) at $7.99 for one game.
So I email them asking what my total is for two games and they shoot me a whopping savings of $1.98. That's $14 shipping for two Saturn games. :eek 2: I replied with this:
Thanks for the reply.
Please don't take offense, but you call that saving on shipping? I bid
knowing the shipping cost and will follow through with my end, don't worry
about that.
and they said
We apologize that you are not satified with the shipping cost. We ship them
UPS ground and you are able to track the item.
We do thank you for your business and interest!
I know UPS is more expensive than the PO and it includes insurance and tracking. I can live with that, but you can't tell me two couldn't ship for that price. So I paid more than twice the cost of the games in shipping. Gotta love eBay. :hmm:
