Anybody get Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon?

By Atlus, it's a remake of the classic Genesis game. I picked up the original for $5 when a local pawn was closing a few years back and thoroughly enjoyed it, although I was bad at RPGs then and I never sent Max into battle, so he was at level 6 (not promoted) on the last battle of chapter 6!!
Now, he's already chapter 4 and I'm only on battle 3. If you picked this game up, LMK what you think. I think it's a good, faithful upgrade of the original Shining Force.

I was gonna get it yesterday, but stupid EB only had ONE copy....the *cringe* shelf copy that was opened. Screw that.

I got it...haven't played it much(hooked on Metroid Zero Mission and Harvest Moon), but am happy that the music is very close to the original...I hate that when they try to give you the shelf copy. One time I refused to buy it and they all thought I was nuts...too embarassed to tell them I was a collector but just said I'd pass. They probably didn't know what to think about that. Maxlords...what do you say to the guy when he tries to give you the shelf copy?

I've played a little bit of the rom and wasn't really impressed with it.

same here, IMO they didnt add much (if anything) to the gameplay; just had some new characters (?) and updates sprites
