I have this problem with my Nes when it comes to hooking it up to my switch box. There's only two AV cabels for the Nes and when I hook it into the switch box the video comes out and so does the sound. But the sound only comes out of the right speaker. So can anyone help me with this problem?

The Nes only has mono output.

You'll need to use an RCA Y-Splitter that will allow you to hook up 2 rca outputs to the one coming from the Nes.

The NES does not have stereo sound. Im not sure if I understand completely, but if you just plug the two AV cables into something, it SHOULD only come out of one speaker. Maybe if you use an RCA y-adaptor on the sound cable and plug one end into the right and left inputs, you will get sound from both speakers. It might also mess up your stereo sound by combining the two channels, but im not positive.

No, your speakers wil be fine. I've been using one for as long as I can remember. It certainly reduces the annoyance of only having one speaker sound.

My TV (and I'm sure most others) is designed to play mono sound through *both* speakers if it senses input for only the left speaker. Try plugging the NES audio RCA male end into the female input for the left speaker.
