has anyone ever beaten the stupid butterfly game on FFX?

this minigame is absolutely horrible, crappy control, and suspect collision detection. but i have to beat it to get the last sigil for the celesteal weapons.

any advice other than dropkicking the ps2?

I never did it either. I decided it was a waste of my time, though i DID dodge 200 lightning bolts. Yep, I am out of my mind. LOL

i did the lightning bolts too, if you hang around near the craters the frequency is pretty high. i also just did them 20 at a time, then paused the game for a couple of minutes so i wouldnt phych myself out :)

Study the map and you'll complete it. That's how I did it. The lightning dodging is definitely worse.

Oh I did it. With my gameshark. Just gave myself the item. Same with Wakka, there is no fucking way I was going to play Blitzball. No way. I did the 200 lightning bolts. It's very easy if you turn off the sound, stand near the mountain, and do it in sprints of 20 or 40 till you reach 200.

blitzball got easy after a couple of games to earn the players experience and techniques. if you use the reset stats function just right, you can get all the items in only 26 games


that first game they make you play with level 1 nobodies is tough though
