Now listen carefully. Everyone vote for Mighty Bomb Jack, Star Soldier, Goonies II, and Kid Icarus, or I'll stab you all. Just ask the guys on IRC.

I think it would be awesome if they made the results of this survey viewable to the public after voting is closed.
I personally cast my vote for Contra, Mega Man II, and Cobra Triangle, amongst others.

Just took it.
HEY EVERYONE! We all need to take the survey because it's things like this that nintendo helps decides what classic game will be remade next on the GBA.
SO EVERYONE VOTE!!
Let's get some good games being made!!

Ahh...
I would love to play Castlevania, Metroid, Metal Gear, Kid Icaraus... the list goes on.
Anyone know if Nintendo has any tentative plans for more in the classic series?

Why did Nintendo include already rereleased games like Zelda, Donkey Kong, Pac-Man and Mario Bros. on the list? In fact, I hope that no one has voted Mario Bros. on the list! Isn't 5 copies of the game on the GBA already enough?
On the other hand, I'm highly pleased to see Baseball Stars on their list. Now, if they rereleased Baseball Stars on the GBA, it'd be a must-buy for me!!!

My god... if I could play Castlevania 3, Maniac Mansion, and Zelda 2 on my Gameboy... *drools*

The voting is a little flawed. For example, they list Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade twice, which is appropriate, but neither tells which version it is, so you only have a 50/50 chance of getting the one you want, though I bet few or no one looked to vote for that. I was also dissapointed that Goonies 1 wasnt a choice. It would be nice to be able to play that off emulation without importing. In a perfect world they would release 1 and 2 together.

Voted Conan, Stadium Events, and Cool World.
Mega Man 2, Battletoads, and World Champ.

"wipes the sweat off my forehead" looks like i'm stab free! :D I don't really care much for ports as much as i would like to see old imports brought over. I would love to see nintendo bring over goemon and mother.

Same here. Oh how I wish I could select Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem Gaiden... :(
I picked Stinger, Adventure Island 2, and Spelunker as my "other" picks. O_o

I voted:
Dragon Warrior 4 (since I have 1-3 on the GBC)
Goonies II (because I loved it as a kid)
Zelda II (Just because...)
and I think there was another but I forgot what it was. >.>

Judging from the later questions in the survey, Nintendo has already made up its mind about what it's going to release in the Classic NES Series. However, I did choose 1943: Battle of Midway and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II whenever the opportunity presented itself. I also added my own entries, The Guardian Legend, Zanac, and Castlevania III.
I'm glad that Nintendo is doing this... but at the same time I really wish they'd use the power of the Game Boy Advance to bring us games with a little more punch. Why settle for the NES version of TMNT II when the GBA could easily handle the four player arcade game?

Voted Conan, Stadium Events, and Cool World.
d00d! I voted Jaws, Ficher Price: I can remember, and Gyromite
Seriously, I am curious as to why Nintendo left all these licensed and third party titles on the list. Not to mention the light gun games. I'm really skeptical as to what this is going to accomplish. I kind of agree with Maneki, it seems like they already know what they want the answers to be, but I guess it makes the fans feel like they had a say. Oh well, until they put more than one game on a cart, I won't be buying them anyway.

For the write-ins, I voted Zanac, Maniac Mansion, and something else. Zanac is important though. I'd kill for that on a portable.

My thoughts exactly.
Or...how about better ports of the older arcade games?

Sheer silliness, but at least it looks like Nintendo's plotting a Lolo comeback, which would be killer. Imagine if the 8-bit port led to a GBA title? Kid Icarus too for that matter.

That would be great. A new Lolo GBA game I mean. I'd like to see Lolo make a real comeback, instead of him and his girlfriend being bosses in Kirby games, and subsequently being killed.

I think Lolo is long overdue for a comeback. He already makes guest appearances in nearly every episode of the Kirby cartoon. Try to forget for a minute that the cartoon in question is terrible... at least he's got national exposure.
Moreover, it's been a long time since I've seen a really, really good puzzle game on the Game Boy Advance. That genre used to be the staple of the Game Boy library, but these days, portable puzzle games have become a rare breed.
Now that I think about it, both Lolo AND Solomon's Key deserve a second chance to shine on a Nintendo system. I'm still kicking myself for not picking that game when I filled out Nintendo's survey.

I went with Ducktales, Little Nemo & hmmmm, what was the last one? dammit I can't remember, it was a good one though. Oh, haha, it was Journey To Silius.
Yeah, so, if they release them I'd be happy...although I wouldn't buy them until a price drop. :P
And RedEye...i'm with you on the Princess Tomato...fun game! if only I hadn't voted already.

Yeah Solomon's Key was a good game. Only gripe I had with the game was a lack of a password or save feature. There was a continue code, but it only worked up to stage 41. And the final few stages are so brutally hard, you wish you could've just taken a break from the action when things got ruff. Still was a unique game, especially for the time it was made.
I've yet to try the gameboy sequel, Solomon's Club. Anybody have an opinion on that one?

Already done. My other 2, less tongue-in-cheek, writeins were for Dragon Warrior 4 and Pirates. Not that those'll ever make it into the Classics series either.
