Does anyone in here either have a spare SIO2PC cable, or possess the ability to cheaply manufacture one? i have just acquired an atari XE, and now need an SIO2PC cable to play all those old disk-based games : > let me know how much $ it would be shipped to 53073 if you have one or can make one thanks!

I don't have a spare, but I have a bunch of the translator ICs needed to make the convertor, so I could whip one up. For mine I placed the converter inside a 130XE and have a DB-9 on the back for the serial connection. This eliminates the need to locate an actual SIO cable, although you do need to cut a small hole in the case. PM if you are interested or else head over to Atari Age as I think they sell them already assembled.
