I like them they would be cool in a game room. I hope you decide to keep them and show them off.

I thing they all looked great all framed up like that. Why would you want to sell them off?

I wish you would of said something sooner about having them framed. My dad's has been a pro picture framer for the past 35 years. He could of hook you up.

framing these suckers was expensive, with the UV glass and archival paper. it cost me about 80 bucks a piece. i would sell it if someone was interested, but at that price, i'm not sure.

Wow. Now I remember why my family does all their own framing. >.<

Looks cool. But how can you read them now? ;)
Beats off my presentation, though, my mags function as a chair when I play my Vectrex. LOL

That looks really good. Now you need to get your Yahoo photos developed and framed so that you can have framed versions of the picture of magazines that are in frames. Yeah.

Nice idea everything looks good. I tried to put my magazines into comic book protectors but the bags weren't wide enough so I didn't get around to doing that.

What? You mean that thing is hard to find? A couple years ago my friend used to bring that same issue to school to show me.....

Kind of, but not really. They go for about... 10 to 20 bucks on eBay. It's more of a case of "OMG! 1ST NP EVAR!" than actual rarity.

Exactly, its very sought-upon, but not REALLY rare. I still havent found a cheap copy....i`d pay 10 US at most :(

Even more sought after then the 1st issue of nintendo power the Rarest of those issues is actually the second issue of nintendo power, There are more copies of the 1st issue floating around because nintendo gave the 1st issue away for free. I remember sending in about 3 reply cards and I got 3 seperate issues of nintendo power issue 1. Well Of course I had to change my name a few times so they would not catch on it was the same person. Well the Second issue was limited in circulation and not sent to many susbscribers or offered as a back issue to buy because many soccer moms wrote in and made calls to nintendo complaining about the cover since it featured some guy dressed up as simon holding up Draculas Be-headed-Head. You know nintendos stand on violence back in the day, that was a no no so If you actually want to frame a controversial issue that would be the one to get.

Thanks

Those are supa fly! Real nice.

I kinda did the same thing, however a lot cheaper but they arent nearly as nice as yours.

I got glass frames the size of a magazine page(8x11ish), the frames are from a dollar store and just have 4 small metal tabs and thats it showing, the rest is a nice piece of glass. (Hope that makes sense)
Then from my Maxim, Stuff and other crap mags, I cut out gaming Ads for games I have or that I want to get.

They are all displayed above the tv in a row. If I ever get a camera and place to host I'll post em.

do you guys think anyone would buy it on ebay if i sold each one individually for $90?

It's more likely, but again - I doubt it. When I collect magazines, I want to be able to read them, check out the old advertisements, and scout for things that never got released. I also don't want to pay more than a few bucks. To me, and I'd venture to say to many others as well, this defeats the purpose twice. As nice as they look, they're neither cheap nor readable. Not something I'd bid on.
