Selling on Ebay (questions of a beginner)

Hi everyone-

I am going to sell a few items on ebay, something that I have never done before. This isnt videogame stuff, just junk from my house.

I live in PA. Anyway, does anyone know if I have to tax people for the goods that I sell, if they are also residents of PA? I saw that some sellers from PA were taxing their auctions, but most weren't. Maybe it is only if they are doing this full time, as a business? I sure hope I don't have to full with the taxes, as that just complicates matters further.

Anyway, please let me know if you guys know about this. Thanks.

You only have to charge sales tax if you are a business and receiving the items tax free.
Then you are required to charge sales tax when you sell the item to a PA resident.
