Virtual Boy Parts

I found a Virtual Boy at the thrift store today. I posted it up with my weekly finds. The problem is that it's missing the stand and eyepiece for it. I can still play it fine but it's hard to find something right to prop it up on. Does anyone here have extra parts that they've come across or have a broken virtual boy that they wouldn't mind giving up some parts from? Or does anyone know of anywhere else I would be able to find these parts?

It shouldn't be that hard to find a tripod. I think that even nintendo might have them for sale at their site still.

I would think AC would be easier to find, since it uses the same one as the snes.

Yeah it does use the same model as the snes. Though the ac also must have the battery pack thingy (not the one you get with the system) that hooks up to it.

Nintendo doesn't list them anymore on their site, but you might be able to call and they could have some hidden away somewhere (I had to do this for GBC Pokemon replacement screens).

VUE-011 is the part # for the AC Tap (yes, it uses the SNES AC adapter but you need this to plug into the VB)

The eyeshade is either VUE-010 or 012, but I don't have the part # information for the stand infront of me at the second.

Easiest thing to do may be to scour ebay for a system that is broken or in nasty condition. That's what I had to do, as the seller claimed it was 'broken' and dirty. Took what I needed, cleaned it up, tested it, resold it and made a profit.
