Well, sort of. Someone's working on a Saturn emulator for the Dreamcast. So far, it's only running part of the BIOS, and not that cool part where the polygonal starship flies around the screen, either. But hey, it's a start!

Since there's no longer an emulation section of this forum, I figured it would be most appropriate to post the news here.

I just about had an organism when I saw the topic. But upon reading that it's still the early stages, I popped it back in :P
That's cool it's being worked on. Guess I'll check back in a year or two. ;)

Is it running on a DC or on the DC emulator? (an emulator on an emulator?)
I got GiriGiri to run games on my Athlon 1.4Ghz and I'd say that has to be +/- minimum spec for that emulator. I can't imagine the DC being powerful enough to run a fully functioning Saturn Emu.

Now they need to move this idea and work on it for the xbox. But then again, after experience with the HORRIBLE xbox controller which doesn't work very well for genesis games I can't imagine the button setup for a saturn, ugh.

I wish someone would hurry up and get one working decent for PC first. I remember a few years ago trying to find something and they were all "well the menus and shit you'll never use work!" I need me some Guardian Heroes, damnit!
