I got a used GBA today and the screen is...BAD. Owned by a child, probably...that's what I get for wanting to have enough cash for a game to go with the system. What can I do? Any magical scratch-filling products? Replacement screens?

Check out Nintendo.com. Last time I checked they sold replacement screens...or rather the plastic lens that goes over it. THere are plastic restoring liquids, but I can't for the life of me remember the one that was mentioned in a thread over a year ago that someone said was pretty good....judt don't use the stuff you use to fix CDs.

Yeah, the replacement screen from Nintendo.com is the ticket. I've replaced my screen once already. I should point out, however, that the official Nintendo screen cover/protector is worthless if you stick the GBA in your back pocket (that is, if you sit on it).

The lesson? Don't sit on your GBA, I guess. Unless you use the Pelican "light shield", which is rigid enough to protect the screen even if you sit on it. The Light Shield isn't that great of a lighting solution, though.
