I don't even know if one exists, but I figured if anybody knows, it would be you guys ;)
My goal is to make my MAME cab look like it is running in demo/standby mode when not in use. I figure a PC screensave would handle that just nicely.
Various games being depicted would be super cool, but even one game would suffice.
If anyone has a link, or even a program name, it would be very much appreiated. :)

I'm not sure this is what you're after, but a few years ago I found a screensaver, I think called Invaders Saver, that would mimic your choice of Space Invaders, Space Invaders Deluxe, or Lunar Rescue when the screen saver kicked off. The program was a complete emulator of the original SI Hardware, and you could actually play the games as well.
I think this site is hosting/maintaining the program I remember:

Someone was working on a program that would allow you to use MAME as a screensaver. Normally, I'd dig up a link for you, but you'll have to find this one on your own... I ran a Google search for it and wound up finding a LOT more than I wanted. At a library. I hate Internet pornographers.

It shouldn't be too hard to make a SS that just kicks off MAME and a rando game, whic would obviously then go to attract mode. You'd probably have the hit Escape to get out though, rather than just moving a mouse. Interesting idea though... maybe a times could be used to kill MAME and restart in another game every so often, and use a .ini file to list the games you'd like it to launch... I should look into this.

I would ask over at BYOAC message board. But...
It's a mame cab, and you want an arcade game running in demo mode to show? Why not just start up mame, and load a game, and let the game run in demo mode?

Thanks for the links though, these should do nicely :)

Ease of use. :)

But if you want it to run on your mame cab, wouldn't you have to exit the game, and then exit mame (or your FE) to get the screensaver to turn on?
