How many people out there own both a Neo Geo AES console as well as some form of the MVS.....such as a cabinet, consolized board, or supergun setup?
I'm just curious if there is any point to it because I do have an MVS 4-Slot and would love to have an AES also......

I've decided not to go AES as well due to cost and space constraints. All I have is MVS right now.
I have a aes as well as a phantom 1 converter
If I were you i wouldn't get the aes since the
games are cheaper on the mvs

The reason I went MVS was to avoid getting tickled in very personal spaces while trying to afford my favorite AES games. Someday, I'll probably get an AES and a handful of games for novelty/completeness; but realistically, if you have an MVS (especially supergun or consolized board), then there's no need for AES in my book. Unless you have a need to collect fancy looking boxes, of course.

Yo, here and present. If i ever find a deal on aes carts, or find them in the wild, they will go into my collection.
However if i want to pick up a game to play right now...it's MVS all the way.

I have both. I only have the MVS for the games that cost way too much on home cart. It's not true that the home carts are all much more expensive, though. The very early games are all quite cheap on home cart and the brand new games always cost less right off the bat, not that there will be more than one more relase. I used use a Phantom-1, but that device doesn't work very well with my late model home system.
I prefer home carts because they look better on the shelf and the system is easier to take places.
