You mean someone cracked the top 3 in KoF 2k3 without using Duolon? I guess there's hope yet for the game ;)

Although Beni/Mai? Interesting duo...

And yeah, big shock that Wong won two tourneys. I wish I were that good :(

I'm surprised Wong didn't break top three in A3. Just goes to prove that Wong is beasting Ortiz right now.

I can't believe there was an SvC tourney but no MvC2 or CvS2 tourney. Basically all I have to say is wtf?

Thanks for the coverage uber.

Tourney doesn't end til sunday...Marvel 2 and cvs2 will probably end then. That's why I have no results up yet, the tourneys aren't over.

Actually, as you know, most people here suck at the games they own. They just have a pile of them that they suck at.

Can't wait til EVO. It'll be interesting this year since it's going to be all console. :)

Hey, if I (and for that matter, we) had the time to play the games I (or we, if I can continue to speak for many other people) own, I'm sure I wouldn't suck anymore! But you're right - I just have a pile of games I suck at (haven't had systems to play some, though).

Oh, well I'm a dumbass. I didn't see your "Edited overtime..." sentence.

Markman: Are you going to go to Evo? If so, which tourneys are you going to enter?

Yes I'll be at EVO. I'm a regular there and I'll be running some of the Tekken events this year. I'm not sure if I'm entering yet this year because I'm going to be very busy with the other events during EVO. There may be a mini E3 showing with various companies in the open gaming room, so I may be busy running that as well.

If I did enter though, I'd enter just Tekken 4 and Tekken Tag. I play most of the other fighting games but no where near the competitive level of everyone else there.

According to Omnipoint Diety, Justin Wong won the puzzle fighter tournament because he changed his speed handicap...everyone else used the default, but Wong changed his to 1, which allowed him to do more damage for less work. Kinda shady, but what's done is done.
