Anyone know if theirs bad copies of ninja gaiden for xbox?

I recently purchased this game on ebay , and Im playing through chapter 5 and theirs a certain point where the game says loading in the middle of gameplay , then another which begins loading and never stops , leaving my game in a loop of loading -.-

Have you tried playing thru where it died the first time to see if it does it again? Sometimes the Xbox can get a little stupid, i know mine has, and it usually goes back to the whole DDE thing. If it poops out a second time, then most likely theres a bad spot on the disc.

Once i had gotten a used copy of Amplitude that just woudlnt load on my XBox, I returned it to my store as defective, and my manager took it home to try it, and it worked just fine on his.

Yup several.
i cant really return mine , it was on ebay and sold as is.
Fortunaley now I changed my weapons and it didnt freeze on me for some reason.

You might have one of the old model Xbox drives that breaks down super-easily. If when you open the drive, the opening in the bottom is just a big U shape, then that's most likely the case. The good models have a tray that has two holes in it...

I wouldn't worry that much that happien to me once in the middle of the town in the game. I was worried at first also. Though it seemed to work fine after that and ever since then (about 3 months ago).
