Pikmin

So i just beat Pikmin today. I thought it was a great little game...very short, but if it was any longer it would have gotten far too repetative....who else has beaten Pikmin? wat do you guys think of it? and who else is excited for Pikmin 2!?!?

I beat it while ago. Just a rental. I loved that game. My roomates would make fun of me for playing it but still sit and watch me play it all day. Then rag on me everytime I accidently killed a bunch at once. How about that end boss. He was a lot of fun. I'm extremely excited about the second one. Especially trying out the 2 player stuff. I will definitly be picking that one up when it comes out.

yeah i remember when Gamecube FIRST came out....i used to make fun of my friend for getting on (I was a PS2 fanboy...i know, i hate myself too), especially makin fun of Pikmin and Super Monkey BallSSS......well now I eat my words...big time...I hated losing a bunch at once as well, and dam that end boss guy took me like 100 Red Pikmin to kill!

I also loved the game. The only thing wrong with it IMO was how short it was. But I still found it fun to play it over. I'll definitely be picking up Pikmin 2. The good thing about the sequel is that there is no time limit like the first game, so you can take however long you need to beat the game...hopefully that fact alone should extend the playing time.

No Time Limit??????????? SWEEEEETTTTTT! the whole time i was playin i was thinkin, "yea this is great, but the time limit sucks sumtimes"....glad to see they are doing sumthin different....along with the multi its going to be very interesting...it took me 27 "days" to beat it, how about everyone else? supposibly you can beat it in like 9

Pikmin is a great game, and I am looking very much forward to the second installment. Have been for a long time now! It's short, but you can replay to see how fast you can go and the challenge mode thing let you compete with people for the best scores...

First one was definitly too short. I don't remember how many (pikmin) days it tooke me to beat it. I know I had a few days to spare. I won't be missing that time limit though. Also, I believe the stages change if you play through the game again. Although that my just be multiplayer stages. I don't remember. But that would be really cool. Could play it over and over and it'd be a different game.

Yes it is a very short game, but Pikmin 2 is getting rid of the time scheme dealy so its going to be a lot longer. Pikmin is easily going to become a Nintendo francheise that we will see from years to come. Great idea, great concept, and great fun. One of the best Real Time Strategy games, if you want to call it that, on a console. I can't wait for Pikmin 2.
