well in only a few hours, there been a good amount of people join the group. im glad too see so many other fighting game fans here. i just wanted to say welcome to everyone who has joined or will join, and feel free to post a topic about anything fighting game related.

I'm a junkie of both kinds of fighters, but 2D has always been my first love. After losing lots of quarters to Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat 2 very fast, I got disenchanted with the genre.
But, in 1998, my friend sold me his copies of Street Fighter Collection and Pocket Fighter for the PSX, a move he is still regretting to this day, and I haven't looked back since.

I'm glad as well! I had no idea there were this many 2D fighting game fans at the DP forums!
