...than I thought.

NOTE: This is NO "pirating and stuff" thread! It's only about gamecube homedevelopment.

They got the first arcade-emulator running on Gamecube!Yeah,it's "only" a black and white sega test-game(through the broadbandadapter/PSO glitch) called "Dottori Kun" BUT I wouldn't be too surprised seeing a CubeMame in some (far)future.
"but there is NO storage like hard disk etc" you will think
No, there isn't (yet) but there are some guys who want to use the USB-memorycard as HDD. It's just not so easy to transfer data but I'm sure they will make it.
Please visit their site/forums cause it's just nuts what they have done so far:
3D demos (screeny below)

Divx Player
(AFAIK crashing but could be fixed yet) C64 emu
one even claims that he's working on Quake for cube

This sounds similar to dc homebrew. I used to be big into dc homebrew, and even have a beta of feet of fury somewhere that I got for free because it was a homebrew.

The only problem with gc homebrew is that it will be hard for others to see the "fruits" of their labor with their own gc. It sucks, because I can say from experience that some of the dc homebrews are very descent, and it is nice to play them on a dc.

I am not trying to bring up pirating issues, I am just saying that it sucks doing gc homebrew (from my perspective) because I will only be able to see their hard work through online movies.
