Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew of any more websites that commented/blogged "academic" game info (that is, more than simply reviews and the occasional mediocre feature).

I know of ludology.org, gamegirladvance.com and gamestudies.org. Where else can I find "feature"-style essays on vgames (classic or modern), written in highquality, or essays that discuss v.games beyond simply "this game is good" and "this game looks good"?

www.atariage.com isn't too bad if you're into Atari related games. You should look up the funny 10 pages long thread on the AA forum about Swordquest: Airworld.

www.genesiscollective.com is by far the best sega Genesis site I've seen.

www.neo-geo.com is a great neo geo site.
