I -might- be getting these very soon... not even sure which ones they will be yet, the guy has to dig them up, but I should be getting an excellent deal.
I have no desire to hold onto them should I get them. I would very much like to sell them and buy many items for my collection.
Should I try to sell them here or on eBay? I've seen cart-only auctions go for over $500 there.
I will update when I know more... this could be a great find, especially considering that I've only got into collecting the past couple weeks.

Those carts are great tradebait for any collector.

I'd wait until a month or two after christmas when the "ebay obsession" season kicks in full swing for newbies. :)

It depends. If you are a collector of any system I would recommend holding on to them as trade bait. You can get alot of REALLYYY rare games for those. With ebay you are taking a chance cause you can never keep track of ebay prices, but they do seem to be high right now.
Ask me- Hold onto them as tradebait for any rarities you want.

Thanks for the advice... we'll see what happens, I won't be getting them so cheap now, that's for sure :(
Apparently the guy was all set to sell them to me for $20 each, but then someone informed him that they sell for ''$100-$200'' each online - if I can pick them up for $100 each I will, otherwise...

It all depends....personally I wouldn't resell them, I would use them as tradebait as well to get something you really want.

I`d put them on ebay on christmas shopping time
Why are so many people convinced that certain times of the year will yeild huge dividends on eBay? I mean, who has spare cash at Christmas shopping time when everyone has gifts to buy and a million other things to spend money on?
Equally, I've heard others say that just after Christmas is the best time, but this is when the whole world and his mother is listing stuff, so you may well get lost in the flood.
Has anyone actually studied this? Personally, I'm of the opinion that the inherant eBay fluctuations will always be much larger than any seaonal differences.

You know I really think the best time to list something on ebay ( in the U.S. )
Is right after the tax refunds start rolling in around March - May. People get these huge tax refunds and ebay prices seem to get all crazy.
Just my opinion though. ;)

It seems like the games all get bought up to higher prices on places like amazon up to christmas, and then after christmas on ebay the number being listed dries up and the demand is still there. Those months after have some of the highest prices but this year it seems like it has not even cooled down yet. Tax refunds very well might have something to do with it. I think some of the new ebayers finding the treasure trove of games available while shopping during christmas go crazy for it for a few months afterwards. They think that the current high prices of games that have been inflated from christmas buying are the norm and start from there. That is my opinion from two years on this.

So, did you lose out on the Panesians?

No, I got both of them. They go up on eBay this Sunday night at 10pm - Peek-A-Boo Poker and Bubble Bath Babes, both carts in great condition, both boxes in very good condition.

That zero feedback guy scared the hell out of me until I emailed him - he promised to pay with a priority mailed cashier's check if he won though.
By the way, the reserves on these are LOWER than the BIN.
Help me out, I want to get a Gamecube and a Casio WK3000!

Wow on Ebay right now there are 4 very rare games. The Nes NWC cart, the Snes dk competition cart, and these 2 carts!
Nice games though. Good luck!

i think your right about the tax refunds...
around that time in 2003 i listed heman, ghostbuster, and transformers toys and made $400, $275, and $460 respectively on ebay....1 of the winners specifically told me that he was blowing his tax refund just to get the heman toys...and this may have been the same for the other 2 auctions
