Just curious, would anyone really spend that much for a prototype? O_O

If there really ARE only 10, and they originaly sold for $100 each, and those are the ONLY 10 copies PERIOD, then the price seems fair to me. A lot of 'if's on that, though.

Didn't Best Yet make repros of protos? Like dukes of hazard, and off your rocker? If so this wouldn't be much of an authentic proto.

It did not come from Best it was acquired from an Atari Corp Employee who worked in Customer Service\Marketing From 91 through 96, were he had acquired it.

Dukes of Hazzard was a rom chip not an eprom. These were all left over from Atari ready to sold. Best never (to my knowledge) made more of these. They just made the label that went on the cases. The one everyone is thinking of is Quadrun. I bet there are more fake protos of Quadrun than there are released copies of Quadrun in collectors hands.

Shooting Arcade I believe was produced on a very rare board. Only a few games were produced on this board (saving mary also maybee?) which may be a good reason best never produced a bunch of these.

A few years ago these sold for much more.
