First I must note that this stuff I NEVER see anywhere LOL
I found (used)...
Sega 32X (accessory only) with adaptor piece
Star Wars Arcade (boxed with manual)
Doom (boxed with manual)
$20. I was always wondering if I could use the adaptor piece from the 32X to stabilize my chopped up PBC on my Genny 2. Nope. Anyways, I tried the thing out, and well, I tried two normal Genesis carts, Sonic The Hedgehog, and Strider, and both worked fine. I did notice a delay in the time before it seems to load the game. Like a pause, then the Sega 'message' comes up, then wait some more, then the game starts. However, I tried both of the 32X games and NEITHER worked! ? For SWA, NOTHING. Black screen. Nothing. I try Doom, I get an all blue screen, or an all green screen. WTF? The place I got these from normally checks their shit before they sell it. What is the problem here? The carts don't have filthy connections. They aren't pristine, but they should work. Perhaps it could be a dirty 32X, but the Genny games worked. Any ideas? I will have to clean this and try again, but I'm lost. Does it have something to do with the A/V jacks in the back? I plug the adaptor into my Genesis, and I have the power plugged into the Genesis as well as the AV cord. I don't have anything plugged into any of the jacks (AV in, AV out, Power) on the back of the 32X. If this is the problem, why do the Genesis games work? I don't want to drive back to the place (it's 40 miles to the place (and 40 miles back ;) )), but there is a 14 day guarantee.
Also, used again..
Sega Saturn system model 80000A (is this the newer or older model?) , boxed (the box is beat up) with three controllers, two are shaped like Genesis controllers, the other is like a big fat circle (like the DC controller), the power cord, and the A/V cord which I just noticed one connector has it's plastic covering snapped off. Some games are included..
Daytona USA disc only
Virtua Fighter disc only
Street Fighter The Movie disc only (a movie?)
Hyper 3-D Pinball in a tall plastic case with back insert and front insert manual (eh...complete probably)
This Saturn bundle, $50.
I also got 12 original Game Boy snap cases (Nintendo brand) for $3.
I still need to try out the Saturn...will do that shortly. The guy at the store said a Sega CD came in also as a trade-in (I want one of these, bad), but they turned it down because it didn't work.
