First I must note that this stuff I NEVER see anywhere LOL

I found (used)...

Sega 32X (accessory only) with adaptor piece
Star Wars Arcade (boxed with manual)
Doom (boxed with manual)

$20. I was always wondering if I could use the adaptor piece from the 32X to stabilize my chopped up PBC on my Genny 2. Nope. Anyways, I tried the thing out, and well, I tried two normal Genesis carts, Sonic The Hedgehog, and Strider, and both worked fine. I did notice a delay in the time before it seems to load the game. Like a pause, then the Sega 'message' comes up, then wait some more, then the game starts. However, I tried both of the 32X games and NEITHER worked! ? For SWA, NOTHING. Black screen. Nothing. I try Doom, I get an all blue screen, or an all green screen. WTF? The place I got these from normally checks their shit before they sell it. What is the problem here? The carts don't have filthy connections. They aren't pristine, but they should work. Perhaps it could be a dirty 32X, but the Genny games worked. Any ideas? I will have to clean this and try again, but I'm lost. Does it have something to do with the A/V jacks in the back? I plug the adaptor into my Genesis, and I have the power plugged into the Genesis as well as the AV cord. I don't have anything plugged into any of the jacks (AV in, AV out, Power) on the back of the 32X. If this is the problem, why do the Genesis games work? I don't want to drive back to the place (it's 40 miles to the place (and 40 miles back ;) )), but there is a 14 day guarantee.

Also, used again..

Sega Saturn system model 80000A (is this the newer or older model?) , boxed (the box is beat up) with three controllers, two are shaped like Genesis controllers, the other is like a big fat circle (like the DC controller), the power cord, and the A/V cord which I just noticed one connector has it's plastic covering snapped off. Some games are included..

Daytona USA disc only
Virtua Fighter disc only
Street Fighter The Movie disc only (a movie?)
Hyper 3-D Pinball in a tall plastic case with back insert and front insert manual (eh...complete probably)

This Saturn bundle, $50.

I also got 12 original Game Boy snap cases (Nintendo brand) for $3.

I still need to try out the Saturn...will do that shortly. The guy at the store said a Sega CD came in also as a trade-in (I want one of these, bad), but they turned it down because it didn't work.

You have the second version Saturn with the round buttons. Version one have oval buttons and a shinny plate in the front. Controllers are version two as well the better of the two versions.

As for the 32x I've had some trouble too. With poping sound as such. Just take it appart and clean it out with compressed C02 that did the trick for me.

The beast commonly known as the "32X" requires its own power supply and it must be connected, video-wise, up with the Genesis or the 32x game wont work.

The Genesis games work because the 32x is acting as a pass through for those games. The reason the 32x isnt working is because for games to work it has to use both the 32x and the Genesis to render the on screen graphics. This is why you must have video coming from the Genesis into the 32x *THEN* out of the 32x to the TV.

Damn! Then either they forgot to hand me some pieces or they weren't included. They should have been.

Yeah, sounds like your missing a lot of 32X stuff, mainly the connector cord, which is nearly impossible to find (seriously) and sells for more than the entire system itself on eBay.

Either way man, Ummm, you paid a bit much for that stuff you got. A loose 32X is worthless and so is Doom....Star wars is maybe a 5.00 game. Best bet for 32X stuff is eBay.

Sega Saturn, ouch, 50.00....ummm, I have about 6 of these loose that I paid less than 5.00 each for, and the games you got were common as dirt.

As for the Game Boy cases, ummm...you did good there!

I hate giving opinions like this cause at least one person is going to think I'm an ass for it. But if your happy with it though, that's all that really matters! :D

I have not seen a used Saturn system in stores around here since at least 1998. All those games suck (I tried them).

I wonder if I should drive back out to return the 32X. it will cost probably $5 in gas...
