This list grows every day, I swear by it. If I am forgetting anything..ANYTHING...Let me know about it.

The only rules are that it has to share a name and charachters from an original videogame. So a game based on a movie doesn't count, for instance. Storyline doesn't have to match. "Teams" like The N-Team on Captain N count because they have licensed game charachters.

Sonic X is an anime. River City Rampage is River City Rumble. There was a Fatal Fury anime movie and series. Kirby: Right back atcha is also an anime. I'll remember some more things later.

If I may throw in a correction: The "Space Ace" cartoon was never a stand-alone show. It was one viginette on "Saturday Supercade." If you want to count it as a seperate show, then you'll need to also do it for Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Q*Bert, Kangaroo, and Pitfall - as they were also "shows" on Saturday Supercade.

Zillion had an anime in Japan. In addition, an animated Super Mario Brothers movie came out in Japan, along with a few specials based on fairy tales using SMB3 characters. In the US, there was a cartoon based on Super Mario World that was doubled with Captain N for a time.

By the way, Sonic X and Kirby are both japanese creations, so they'd probably belong under anime.
