I was wondering if anyone else has done this: Taken the backs of two idectical controllers (but of different colors) and switching them. I have done this with N64 and gamecube controllers, so I have purple and orange Gamecube controllers and red and green N64 controllers. This could also be done with colored systems, like the N64, Game Boy, Game Gear (they made a blue one I think), or others. It is an easy way to customize your stuff and identify it if it gets mixed with other's stuff.

Yes. My brother did with our Red and Blue N64 controllers.. it actually fixed them in the process.

yeah I used to do that. I also used too do that to my He-man figures with different arms and stuff. Maybe that is a little off topic.
