This whole circut city thing brings up some interesting questions. It apprears that Circut City is blowing out some serious backstock. The questions I bring up are
1. Who is losing thier butt from this sale?
2. Do you think that any other stores will follow suit?
3. Does this thing happen all the time or is the market that saturated?
4. Is this a sign that there are too many games?
I am not forcasting doom and gloom or saying "a recession is near", but this sale is crazy! What do we think of this sale?

1. Everyone
2. This happens to all stores, I work at best buy and see it happen all the time, games will not sell and eventually they are cleared out.
3. It happens all the time.
4. Yes. In my opinon totally. There are so many god damn games coming out week after week in the 40-50 dollar range it makes it hard for some games to get any spotlight time and many are overlooked and forgotten.

What Hellvin said. The market is definitely saturated. Also, if you keep your eyes open from time to time you'll find deals that easily rival these (just not in the quantity!), as places like EB Games and Best Buy blow out their backstock as well. It's worth it to them to make at least something off of these and have more warehouse space for all the games they'll end up blowing out next year LOL . Maybe the snail's pace release schedule for the Gamecube ain't such a bad thing after all?
