:hmm: Due to the rarity of NTSC CD32 units was wondering about the feasibilty of using a PAL CD32 console. I THINK by putting a mouse into controller port and holding the two buttons allows the user to select PAL or NTSC anyway doesn't it? How would this effect playing NTSC titles on a PAL machine? Would an adaptor allow PAL or NTSC to disply on VGA monitor? What about power requirements? THANKS.........................

I guess games should play just fine if you select NTSC at startup. There's no direct adaptor to VGA for the CD32, althought it would most likely fix your problems. If you can find a expansion module for the CD32 that gives you a RGB port, you can connect a scandoubler/flicker fixer for a VGA picture.
