Yeah, I pretty much revived this thread from the dead, but I found the creator's website to be very interesting:

That's the direct link to the midines pat of his site. Check out those sound samples created with midines! They're awesome!

Apparently the auction there is an older version of midines, and you can buy new ones from the creator. So, for those who THINK they have a complete NES collection... :D

And that means?

Are you knocking midines having not used it (I assume you haven't), or are you saying all homebrews are shit and not worthy of being part of a complete collection even though they are really no different than unlicensed games.

Or maybe you mean something else?

I wouldnt count this as a part of a complete collection. If you do you must also count memblers garagecart (or whats it called).

Anyone know how this thing works btw? Do you just connect a midikeyboard to your NES? What hardware do you need?

im not knocking midines, im just saying it shouldnt be necessary to have a complete collection.
