I was told of a port of Castlevania symphony of the night for the Sega Saturn. I read it on the Sega Collectors Guild site.

That's true - but it was only released in Japan. You can find import copies for about $40-$60.
The port is not as good as the PS version as well. there are supposed to be some graphical issues, on the bright side it has two new areas (I think) and you can play are Richter and Maria from the get-go. :)
