Ah! My good luck continues.

After a couple of months of hunting drought, I finally made a huge splash at a swap meet a couple of weekends ago. Due to the sheer amount of stuff and the fact that I went on vacation a few days later, I never got a chance to brag. But yesterday the Goodwill treated me right, and I get a chance to beat my chest again.

My centerpiece find:

--Virtual Boy and controller (including stand and visor, but no battery pack) plus Wario Land for $3.98.

Woo!

Smaller pickups included:

--Sega Master Systems controllers, $0.99 each (I had two systems but no controllers)

--The Adverntures of Lolo and Kid Niki (for reasons of nostalgia) for the NES, $1.50 each

--After Burner for SMS, $1.99

and finally

--Golden Axe, $1.99. I assumed this was for the Genesis, but closer inspection revealed it was for the "Mega Drive" so I guess it is an import version?

I'm pretty pleased with the Virtual Boy find, I don't usually see unique things like that at the thrifts.

By the way, does anyone know where to get some bits or screwdrivers to take apart Nintendo stuff? I went to Home Depot last night and none of them were familiar with the screw head. They suggested I drill it open! :eek 2:

PSX - CastleVania: Symphony of the Night (GH-Version)

The Other 2 -
PSX - Casper
PSX - Herc's Adventure

Goodwill does NOT rock. My local goodwill is selling a psx for $100. But the guy said that it has been there for awhile so they will probably go ahead and lower the price to $80. Fucking idiots. After a bit of prodding, he finally admitted that it was "a litte bit overpriced."

Wufner,

The one I got is not as nice as the one you found. They may not have the one I got anymore. It did not have as many bits as this one.

Tucked within a stack of other Genesis games, I picked up a spare copy of MUSHA last night. It's complete and in a little better shape than my old one, so I'd expect to see the old cart/box combo appear up for trade soon ;) Also pulled in Calibur 50 and Mega Turrican.
