Hello Everyone,

Here is some very cool news indeed. When Capcom releases Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for PlayStation 2 in the US on August 16, they are also going to be selling 3 limited edition controllers that feature: Chun Li, Ken and Ryu on them. They look very similar to the design of the Sega Saturn Controller and will sell for $24.99 each. I so can't wait :D :D :D Take Care

Yes, very cool controllers indeed. :)

I wouldn't mind picking one up, but I'm not sure how awkward it would be with the L1/R1 buttons by the other buttons... It shouldn't be a big problem with this game, but if you want to use the controller for something else, then you may have a problem.

Maxlords posted a link to a site that has images of the controllers here:

I'll be in line when those come out.
The Ken controller looks really cool!

I don't know... The upcoming release of the SF Collection along with SVC Chaos has really made me consider picking up a MAS systems joystick. Those things look like the alpha-omega of fighting game controllers. So classy...

here is the official site http://streetfightercontroller.com/index3.html

I like the bottom layout but I have to say they look real cheesy I guess the picture is supposed to change when you tilt it back and forth.

It's a sick and sad day. Admittedly, I plan on buying one of each on release day. Of course, that plan may change. Do the "Coming Soon"s mean that there will eventually be 10 different controllers? Sheesh. Gotta catch 'em all!

Those look awesome. I just hope they'll be a better alternative to the already shoddy PS1/2 controller design.

don't you mean four? eventually their will be ten so dependeing on how much of a SF fan you are I guess you could end up with ten controllers for a two player game.

I'll probably pick up two just for the button layout. I still stand by my previous post that these things look cheesy.

Anyone know if these controllers are coming out for the Xbox too? I'm not going waste my money one the PS2 version and it's non-online play when the Xbox version features Live support.

Don't forget to make sure it's Xbox compatible. Everyone loves online play.

MASsticks are great. I've seen some crap out, but others work fine for years, so your mileage may vary, but they're also pretty easy to fix. And all the customization things you can do are definitely cool, like what buttons/stick you want in there.

Just slightly off center of this topic, but did i hear that this new Anniv. "Collection" has 2 games? Wow, can they fit that much 2D madnesss on 1 disc  . I was expecting something more along the lines of the sonic collection. But my info might be mistaken.

Yeah, theres Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike and Hyper Street Fighter 2. Thats it. :o

Those controllers are awesome, and I'll probably pick up a Ryu one.

@A Boy- If you are into fighting games as much as me and ubersaurus, you NEED to pick up a MAS stick. I personally don't have one, mainly because I love my Agetec stick for DC, but for PS2 or x-box, mas is the way to go.

yea i'm hoping for a xbox release too.

but if not, i'll probably get the akuma one, and maybe a guile one if that's one of the future designs. (i'm assuming it is, these seem to be based off special covers of the street fighter comic.

I'll just use my nifty ps2-Xbox adapter, $4.99 out of the Gamestop used bin (also works with Gamecube!).
