Just wondering if this auction has just gotten too ridiculous or not for this Factory Sealed Suikoden II. Looks nice, however I must say it has gotten high...

We have another one that suddenly came on board as well that is quite lower, but has a crack in the case..

Nah that's normal.

Suikoden II (complete) sells for $100-$125 ALL THE TIME on Ebay.

And I think around $175-$200 is the Norm for a sealed one.

I haven't seen a factory sealed Suikoden II for the longest time on Ebay. Funny now thare's a few. I guess they come in bunches. But I agree with the $200+ value if opened ones are consistently around $100. If a factory sealed original game that had a subsequent greatest hits run can go for over 2 bills (cough... Final Fantasy VII...), then this really isn't that outrageous.

After reading that post again I realize that a lot more went on with it than I realized and that the games never got sold. Too bad!

It seems we have two more contenders in the auction ring.

i always chuckle when i see the prices for that game on ebay.

the game isn't exactly rare, but is in high demand. My advice, watch your local game stores, pawn shops and even garage sales. Me and samurai smurfette have flushed a few out by just watching your local shops. there are people who don't realize they can get 90-100 for used copy.

Some of the cooler playstation finds i've had:

Valkyrie Profiles $10 US at the gibralter trade center in michingan(Just off the I 75) 8-)
Suikoden 2 $10 Can at a local pawn shop in ontario 8-)

My advice, keep your eyes peeled and great things will turn up, usually cheaper then you'd expect :D

trust me. I know. I used to be an avid Neo Geo US AES collector. Had some of the rarest games, but sold them all. Those games are quite tougher to find than PSX games. However, the location I live in doesn't have that many pawn shops or thrift stores, and if so, they are hardly filled with games at all. I know at some of the local gamestops you can get stuff a whole lot less than the ebay auctions but definitely not as big of a price difference if you bought it at a thrift stores. Thanks again
