View Full Version : CRT Experts! a little help would go a long way....

...Ok, as you all may know I have a non-working Primal Rage I am trying to get up and running. This morning I had a guy from "amusement repair services" over to look at it. But he said the problem can be coming from either the chassis (which I have a new one to replace it with) or the tube. It's just determining whether it's the tube or the chassis. x_x
ANyways, heres the problem with it, maybe someone can help.
Model Number - NT-2515C
Problem - Filimit Voltage on CRT flashes/lights up for about 1/2 a sec and then goes out. Game play and sounds are fine though.
That's basically what I need help on, if anyone can help it would be great! Maybe we can nip this in the bud soon. And I can FINALLY have a working machine.
Definately try the new chassis... that doesn't sound at all like a bad tube.

So....6 months later....and plenty of work and this and that (believe me, I've had a LOT to go through)....
MY PRIMAL RAGE MACHINE WORKS!
We replaced the entire moniter and chassis and installed an isolation transformer. Just wanted to express my joy. :D

I've been playing it like crazy, mastering the moves, perfecting the fatalities.
I can now pull off Chaos's "Golden Shower" fatality with ease. 8-)
