I'm sure many of you already knew about this, but I was in Toys R Us earlier this evening and they had a large selection of PSX and PS2 games for $7.99. They were all marked $14.99-$19.99, but there was a paper print-out taped to the display saying they were all $7.99.

For the PS2, I know I saw PaRappa 2, Matt Hoffman 2, Dave Mirra, Driver ... boy, I'm terrible at remembering game names. I did notice that a few of them were Greatest Hits releases (red bar across the top of the front) but most weren't. There were also quite a few PSX titles but I just kind of skipped over them.

The one nearest me has had a BOGO sale for about a month now on select games. I went nuts & got for Dreamcast:

Sega Marine Fishing
Championship Rally 2
Ultimate Fighting Championship
Sega Tennis 2K2
Toy Commander
SW: Jedi Power Battles
Q*Bert
World Series BBall 2K1

I also found PS2 Silpheed for $10 on the shelf. Fun game- definitely worth it. The next closest TRU had stacks of DC sports titles & no indication of any sale.

There're 2 I know

- BOGO - all the games with yellow stickers, buy one and get another, you pay the higher of the 2, normally I match this with 2 nearly identical price tag to maximize my discount.

- $7.99 game sale - marked on a bin, it's the games with cheap/soft plastic folders - worthwhile titles include - Super Bust-A-Move 1/2, Metropolitana, Antz Racing, Tokyo Xtreme Racers Zero, Harvest Moon, Parrapa 2, Mojo, there're a few PS1 games which I can't remember, my local TRU ran this last weekend only, some kept running longer.

@Saabmeister: The Woodbury store- stacks of mainly sports titles now.

Funny thing is- they moved them OUT of the shopping carts they dumped them in (I posted about it) & moved them back on a table, as there are less of them.

Yeah, I checked the BOGO last week. They still had Megaman 64 for $50. Ha!
