If you like Tetris Attack, you might also like Pokemon Puzzle Challenge (GBC) and Pokemon Puzzle League (N64). Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and most games with the word "Puyo" in it are pretty fun.

Many of the games at www.popcap.com can keep me busy for quite a while, too.

MR DRILLER

(though i think that this isnt a pure puzzle game, its more like a misplaced 80's Namco arcade game)

Tetris (all Versions)
Tetris Grandmaster Challenge 1 and 2
Tetrisphere
All Mr. Driller games
Puzzle Bobble / Bust a Move series

Dr. Mario / Dr. Mario 64
Panel De Pon and all of its rip-offs
Columns
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
Wario's Woods
Mario and Wario
Mario and Yoshi
Yoshi's Cookie

And if you consider it a puzzle game, I LOVE the Lode-Runner series (except for that "RPG" Lode runner on SFC)

Also:
Devil Dice and Bombastic

how funny is it that maxlords post for puzzle games had to do with women too.

What is it with women and their puzzle games?

Thanks for all the suggestions I'm going to try a pick up a few of these and see if I can keep her puzzled for a while.

Puzzle Games I really like:
Picture Puzzle for the Neo Geo Pocket Color
Mario's Picross for the Super Famicom

There's also a Mario's Picross for the Game Boy, but I have never played it.

That was released in Japan for the Gameboy Advance. It features a rotating pole that has to be navigated across narrow mazes. It's pretty unique as far as puzzlers go, and it can be damned tough, too. It's one of those great GBA games that really should be released in America.

Here are another couple great puzzlers for the Advance: Virtual Kasparov and Hikaru No Go 2. Virtual Kasparov is an excellent chess game that came and went in 2001 (so you might have to dig around for it), and Hikaru No Go 2 is a Japanese game based on the board game Go, as well as a popular manga of the same name. Both titles should be in your collection.

Here are a couple of reviews links. Discuss:
