I know that this isnt a very original post but here goes anyway. :P
What games do you like, enjoy, luv or even obsess over that are either:
1. very unpopular 2.were very poorly accepted when originally released or 3. most gamers just plain hate the game?
My quick pick is a little golf game that I recently picked up for the simple reason that I had never actually owned a golf game EVER for some odd reason ;) anyway I picked up a little known "old" PSone game (1999) called Cybertiger since it was a paltry 3$. I would have never guessed that a cheap little golf game could be this addicting?
I was actually very surprised when I launched up my PS2 to find that it was a decent and I think fun game for 3 bucks no less? I mean I actually had more fun with this game than the last 3 Xbox and PS2 I have recently purchased games combined O_O
of course there is a small chance that Im simply losing it and will hopefully snap out of whatever twighlight zone I currently find myself to be in LOL
anyway what game or games do you like that it seems nobody or at least very very few others likes?

I really liked Intelligent Cube for the PS1 when it first came out. Annoyed the hell out of roommates.

Oh yeah and Pokemon Yellow I played at work on the Gameboy. Everybody made fun of me. Haha.

Oh well, what the hell do they know.

the Ooze (Sega Genesis)

It is a very odd game but if you give it a chance it can be very fun ... I promise just give it a try. I know the box art and title are bad but just give it a few minutes and see what its trying to do.

Its fun :)

Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the N64.

I put more hrs than I can count into playing that version of the game back in the day.

But it got diced to pieces by game reviews and critics because of the sound, lack of boss characters and frames of animation.

Oh well, I loved it. :)

Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the N64.

YES! :D

As for me:

Bubsy (SNES) - All the sequals blew, but this was a classic.
Kirby's Dreamcouse (SNES) - Remains to this day one of the best SNES games of all time.
Cubivore (GCN) - Odd and awesome, very original and fun.
Mario Party (N64) - The original beat them all and was loads of fun.

Folks, the whole point of Wise Salesman pointing out that there is already a post for this is that you shouldn't continue to add to this thread. You should go to the other thread, read it and reply if you'd like.

A mod is going to come here, lock this thread, and it will quickly fall off the board most likely never to be seen again.

Pokemon Snap. I got teased so much when I bought it (I bought it at FULL price), but I still pop that in for some reason every once in a while. Also, pretty much everything on my Lynx, as all my friends hate it when I bring up a system they don't have, and they all assume that since the Lynx is an obsolete system that there was nothing good on it. It's their loss.

Wall Street Kid for NES. I played that game so much as a kid. It was one of the first games I got when I started collecting NES stuff a year ago. I know the game so well that I can almost always predict what the best preforming stock for any given week in the game is :embarrassed:

I have one of each:

1. Total Exclipse Turbo for PSX (and originally for 3DO). The sound effects, control, and stoy are complete ass. So why do I play it? The awesome cheese-metal soundtrack!

2. Silent Bomber for PSX. Why didn't it do well? It's like a cross between Metal Gear Solid, Bomberman, and Gauntlet. Nowhere near as good as any of those games, a bit repetitive and low budget in some spots, but a blast to play nonetheless.

3. Xena: Warrior Princess for PSX. Yup, that's right. It's a cheesy Tomb Raider/Syphon Filter rip off that is actually pretty fun. Give it a try, you might be pleasantly surprised.

I luved bubsy to,
I also loved bart versus the space mutants which recieved a horible score, But my most loved game that has been most hated would have to be enter the matrix probably to of the worst games ever list but I luved it from start to finish I thought it was just fun and cos of the fun I could overlook the zillion bugs in it. ;)

Here are the games I like yet everyone else hates:

Zero Wing (Sega Genesis)
Most people I know hate this game, or only like it for "All Your Base Are Belong To Us", But I like the game. It's like "R-Type", Except I like this more then "R-Type"

Super Mario 64 (Nintendo 64)
It is one of the best N64 games out there! Even though most PlayStation Fanboys think "It's not cool because it's not on PlayStation", I like this game almost as much as "Final Fantasy 7"

Kirby 64 (Nintendo 64)
The Best N64 Game, 'nuff said

Deadly Towers for NES. Sean Baby has AIDS, so he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. ;)

But seriously folks, most peopl just didn't give this a shot. Once you get to the towers, the game gets really cool. Fuck the dungeons tho. They ruined the game for many a player.

Eh? That was made by the great Epyx. I believe it was available for the C64, and it was definitely on the Lynx. It was also released in one of Microsoft's Windows Entertainment Packs back in the Windows 3.x era. It might even be on the GBC or GBA, actually.

Pokemon Snap, I hear ya. That was one of the first N64 games i've played, and one of the best.

True, but it was on a atari system called Atari ST, as well that a rumour that they made a Chips Challenge game for Dreamcast.
